Your partner for doing good with impact
We support companies in developing and implementing high-impact civic-engagement activities in Germany. Within the United Way network, PHINEO can additionally facilitate civic engagement in other countries, if that is where your focus is.
In addition, we work together to develop impact-oriented partnerships that cross sectoral borders to solve complex societal problems.
Several initial projects have already been successfully implemented as part of the partnership between PHINEO and United Way:
For the international high-tech company John Deere, best known for its agricultural, construction and forestry machinery, civic engagement is an element of good business. John Deere encourages its employees worldwide to become involved in their communities. The John Deere Foundation additionally supports education for young people, works to strengthen local communities, and helps combat hunger around the world. PHINEO is the Foundation’s German partner for civic engagement.
Airbus, Europe’s largest aeronautics and space group, has a presence in more than 170 locations around the world. It thus has great potential to make a difference through its civic engagement. To this end, the Airbus Foundation is involved in communities worldwide, and wants both to inspire the next generation and raise their awareness about issues vital to their future. PHINEO piloted the international “Flying Challenge” program in Germany.
funding initiative ‘zukunftsträger’
It is no secret that more can be accomplished together.
Collective-impact approaches bring stakeholders together free of hierarchies to solve complex challenges cooperatively in situations where isolated offerings are not enough – for example, in the education sector.
Once the funding is secured for at least three years, our collective-impact funding initiative is going to support regional alliances that help disadvantaged youth make the transition from school to training and work.
